Become a Massey Guide                                                                                   Massey Guides logo

Massey Guides are senior students who volunteer to help new students with their transition to university during orientation week and beyond, and at other events throughout the year.

As a Massey Guide you will:

  • connect with new students who may be studying the same courses as yourself
  • explain how the university runs through sharing your own student life experiences
  • explain the services on offer, which help new students in their first year
  • take students on a tour of the campus and give directions
  • assist Student Life staff to run a range of on-campus events.

To become a Massey Guide, you can apply to join the team. Once you're selected, you'll be trained to provide support to new students as they undertake their first year of study at Massey University.
