Virtual Private Network (VPN) requires a broadband connection, and allows you to connect to Massey remotely. Your computer at home will operate as if it was at work.

Once you have connected to VPN, you can access your network home drive. Remote desktop allows you to connect to another computer. You can connect to your computer at work, and control it remotely (eg. from home), with everything showing on your screen, just like you are sitting in front of your office computer. This can be useful if you want to run applications from home that are only installed on your work computer.

NOTE: Should you require administrator rights on your computer when installing the SSL VPN client, please contact the Service Desk.
