Pharmacological Applications of the By- Products of Leather Industry on Drug Delivery and Wound Healing
I am currently researching in the area of using bio-materials sourced from the industry by-products as a basis for localised drug delivery system. My project focuses on the sustained-release of local anaesthetics to provide extended pain relief. Whilst this project is aiming to develop a product for veterinary use, there is scope for this to be marketed in human medicine.
This research is important to improve knowledge in veterinary pharmacology, clinical sciences and animal welfare.
Primarily animals, but also veterinarians, owners, and producers.
I am from Tehran the capital of Iran. I chose Massey University because of its outstanding reputation in the field of veterinary sciences. I look forward to contributing further in the field of veterinary science.
