To qualify for this Diploma you must gain 120 credits which includes:

a) Four Core courses (60 credits):

275.203 Child Development
275.204 Adult Development
275.208 Adolescent Development

b) At least two courses (30 credits) from:
253.250 Counselling Principles and Practices
253.255 Cultural Issues in Counselling
253.353 Guidance Principles and Practice
275.202 Development Through Relationships
275.237 Narrative in Human Development
275.304 Gender Development
275.320 Risk and Resiliance across the Lifespan

Up to two courses (30 credits) from:
150.201 Te Kawenata o Waitangi: The Treaty of Waitangi in New Zealand Society
150.202 Hauora Tangata: Māori Health Foundations
175.101 Psychology as a Social Science
230.111 Tū Kupu: Writing and Inquiry
