Entry requirements

There are no special entry requirements for the Organisational Technology Management programme beyond those that qualify you for study at the University. However, competence in English is essential. If you are not confident in this subject we recommend that you undertake additional study prior to enrolling, or attend a Massey University summer programme in English.

Bachelor of Business (Organisational Technology Management) structure

The Organisational Technology Management major (previously Business Information Systems) has been reintroduced for 2018. Therefore, the course structure presented below applies from 2018 regulations onwards. The BBus majoring in Organisational Technology Management has a total of 360 credits.

  • Core business courses totalling 120 credits
  • Organisational Technology Management major totalling 120 credits
  • Elective courses totalling 120 credits

In order to widen your choice of courses, or to fit in with your other commitments, you may opt for a mix of internal and distance courses.


To qualify with a Bachelor of Business majoring in Organisational Technology Management you will need to pass a total of 360 credits consisting of the following:
