International Energy Agency (IEA) Senior analyst on renewable energy and 450 Policy Scenario 2006-2009 including reports on Bioenergy project development; Renewable Heating and Cooling; Biofuels; Cities, Towns and Renewable Energy.

Co-ordinating Lead Author for IPCC 4th Assessment Report (2007) on "Energy Supply"; Special Report on Renewables on "Integration" (2011) and 5th Assessment Report on "Transport" (to be published 2014).

  • Renewable energy for rural communities (with IRL)
  • Energy-smart food supply (for UN FAO)
  • Greenhouse gas emission reduction potentials from transport (for IPCC)
  • Sustainable energy and rural development (for OECD)

  • Climate change mitigation options and sustainable development (for GEF /UNEP).
