You may know you have an interest in Creative Writing but you are unsure about what courses might complement this interest or lead on to a second major, or minor. The following list provides possible choices for interests in English, Expressive Arts, Media Studies, History, and Philosophy to help with planning your first year of study. A usual full-time workload for first year is eight courses; four courses in Semester One, and four courses in Semester Two.

Note: Not all courses will be offered in all modes or across all campuses in any given year.
A minor consists of 5 courses (75 credits) in Creative Writing, including 139.123; at least one course at 300-level; two courses at 200- or 300-level, and a course at any level from the Creative Writing schedule.
